Terms of use

1. Scope and eligibility

These terms apply to the free Generavio service. The website and accounts are available worldwide; supported languages are German and English. Mandatory rights at a user's habitual residence are not excluded.

Account holders must be at least 18 years old. Children do not receive an account or credentials.

2. Learning simulation only

Generavio is not a broker, bank, custodian or financial adviser. It does not execute real purchases, sales or money movements. Displays, calculations and learning text are not investment, tax or legal advice, a recommendation or a return forecast.

Simulated balances and ETF units have no ownership, withdrawal or redemption value.

3. Families and roles

• The Family Owner manages the family, members, roles and deletion.
• Admins may manage child profiles and simulated portfolios but cannot transfer ownership or delete the family.
• Viewers have read-only access.
• Invitations may only be sent to adults whom the Owner is entitled to invite.

4. Transactions and correctness

External contributions and simulated ETF purchases form the immutable financial source ledger. Contributions are not profit, and a purchase does not artificially increase wealth. Market movements apply only from the relevant purchase date.

Generavio supports withdrawals of available simulated cash. ETF sales, dividends, fees and general self-correction are not available. Suspected errors must be reported to support@generavio.com and may only be remedied through a traceable, authorized operation.

5. Market data

Market data may be delayed, incomplete, temporarily unavailable or fully disabled. Missing values are not silently presented as zero. The data must not be used as a basis for real investment decisions.

6. Acceptable use

• no unlawful, deceptive or abusive use
• no bypassing access controls or accessing another family
• no automated overload, manipulation or security testing without prior permission
• no entry of unnecessary sensitive data or publication of credentials

7. Availability and changes

The service is provided without a promise of uninterrupted availability. Features may be changed, restricted or discontinued for security, defect correction or development. Material adverse changes will be announced in advance where reasonably possible.

8. Export, deletion and termination

Authorized users may use the provided export and deletion functions. Deleting a family also affects invited members' access. Records required by law or for a documented legal matter may remain restricted to that purpose until the period ends; backups expire under the published deletion schedule.

9. Liability and mandatory rights

Mandatory statutory liability rules apply. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Questions and complaints may be sent to support@generavio.com. The applicable, versioned terms and their effective date are displayed and must be accepted again after material changes.
