Frequently asked questions about Generavio
These are the main answers about the public learning resources and the private family application.
What is Generavio?
Generavio is a family financial-learning web app. It combines explanations, a public calculator and a fictional demo portfolio with private simulated family portfolios.
Is Generavio a real brokerage account?
No. Generavio holds and transfers neither money nor securities. Every purchase, share and portfolio value exists only for simulation and learning.
Does Generavio provide financial advice?
No. Generavio explains general concepts but does not recommend instruments, purchase times or investment strategies. Real decisions depend on personal circumstances and require independent consideration.
What are contributions and the investment result?
A contribution adds a family's own money to the simulated portfolio and is not profit. The investment result is total wealth minus net contributions, which are contributions less withdrawals.
Which information is public?
Only general learning pages and the entirely fictional demo portfolio are public. Family, child, portfolio and transaction data is protected and is not used as public content or advertising data.
Where do prices come from?
The simulation uses delayed daily reference prices for a small curated selection. The displayed price date can therefore differ from the event date. These values are not intended for real trading decisions.
