Total wealth
Cash plus the current market value of all ETF shares. A purchase merely exchanges cash for shares and does not create wealth by itself.
A portfolio is educational only when every change can be explained. Generavio therefore separates contributions, cash, invested assets and investment results.

Deposits minus cash withdrawals. Contributions come from outside and are not profit.
Total wealth minus net contributions. It shows the calculated effect of market movements and can be positive or negative.
Investment result divided by net contributions. Without positive net contributions, Generavio shows a dash rather than a misleading zero percent.
Each date includes only transactions already effective. Shares use a confirmed price on or before that date—never a future price.
The fixed illustrative rate of 1% supports explanation. It is not a particular bank product and excludes changing rates, taxes and inflation.
The ETF simulation uses delayed public Xetra market data. Delayed prices suit long-term learning, but not real trading decisions. Generavio is an educational simulation and does not provide financial advice.
